There has been an increase of students from India who are applying for the UK visa. This was said by James Brokenshire, UK’s Immigration Minister.
He also said that if students could search graduate level of jobs, after completing their courses, they can stay in the UK. There are employers in the UK who are recruiting foreign students for the graduate level of jobs after completing their studies. The students could transfer their status of students to graduate level of job visas while they are in the UK. These jobs for graduate students do not count towards the overall limit of job visa in the UK.
He also informed that the students from India have four months to apply for job in the UK after completing their education. And around nine students from ten who applied for the visa gets one.
The UK minister had also declared an improvement package in visa services and that includes the expansion of services for same day priority visa. This priority visa which is granted for the period of three to five days would now be expanded for study, work and visit paths permitting additional Indians the chance to obtain a quick visa decision.
From this month ending, the visit visa applicants from India would be able to gain from the latest, quicker and easy application form which is available online. This online for would make it easy for the applicants who seek to visit UK on holiday or for doing business, to apply for both Schengen and the UK visa.
Speaking on the issue of Indian firms over the Intra-firm transfer path under the Tier 2 visa of the UK, the Minister told that the advisory committee on Migration has made a report which is based on many recommendations and that the final decision of the UK government would be based on those recommendations.
