Tom Koutasantonis TREASURER stated that the campaign of the new Destination Adelaide will boost the competitiveness of South Australia in attracting the foreign students from the main markets of Australia while connecting this with the tourism and the opportunities of trade.
On Sunday, he also stated that the investment is all about accelerating the development of our foreign education sector in order to drive the job creation and the economy.
Education is the fifth biggest export of South Australia, accounting for about the 8000 domestic jobs of full-time and is worth of an expected $972 million each year to economy.
Across the state, more than 30,000 foreign students have currently enrolled.
