36 German Universities are ranked among the top 200 European universities. Germany stood next to the UK, and around 11 German universities stood in the top 50 all over the Europe.
Universities in Germany have a lot to offer for foreign students like free tuition and less red tape. The German Universities are offering fewer tuition fees, additional relaxed visa alternatives, and degrees taught in The English Language.
Students in German Universities might still have to pay certain fees that go towards public transportation pass and a student union, and that too very few hundred Euros.
The Munich’s Ludwig Maximilian University has performed the best among other universities in Germany which ranked at tenth place.
According to Bernd Huber, LMU President, the success of the University is based on the nation’s effort for funding additional innovation and science in the university research.
He also informed that there are excellent prospect for researchers here and the conditions for the foreign students in Germany are very attractive which comes without any tuition fees.
The second best German University is Heidelberg University in the southwestern state of Baden-Wurttemberg. It is followed by three more universities in Berlin which are Humboldt, the Technical University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin.
