H-1B employees contribute to prosperity of US firms says India's Ambassador to the US

Arun Kumar Singh, who is the Indian Ambassador to the US, has defended the arrival of skilled employees from India to the US. According to him, the H-1B employees are contributing to the profitability process and are working towards generating technology for the US firms.

He is on his visit to Seattle, and he is also expected to visit the firms like Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, and Starbucks.  Mr. Singh averted any criticism of H-1B visa program, by saying that the structure of H-1B visa is for the authorities of the US to decide. He also said that the Indian employees who visit the US are contributing to the profitability process and generating technology for the US firms.

He also said that the employees are making a vital contribution and that the US firms find the Indian H-1B employees exceptionally valuable for them to be able to meet their targets.

According to him, he wants to see how the US and India could work together in a way that works for both the US firms and Indian firms. He also added that the yearly business between the US and India has increased five times since the previous 15 years to around 120 billion USD.
