In South Africa Visa, Biometrics Essential to Get Visa

May 28, 2015
Malusi Gigaba, the Current Home Minister prefers to support new laws

Another Law is coming into effect that is Biometrics in person for obtaining the South African Visa. This has been fought as it makes mandatory for the travelers from, for example not only Chinese, but also Russians to make a huge trip to a few selected South African embassies in those nations, often deterring them from selecting SA as their final destination anyway.  On requirement for biometrics to obtain a visa to enter, the Home Affairs is probably to the stronger ground, since it points out that the countries such as France and Germany have exactly similar requirement.

But with regards to the new regulations for children has become heavily cumbersome. What if, the parents are divorced and are not even communicating with each other? What if any foreigner is excited about their trip to South Africa and has planned a few months ago and after arriving at the airport their children are turned away? Is it their fault that they had not heard about the new regulations?

Malusi Gigaba, the Current Home Minister has stated that they have received a greater amount of flack for upholding certain specific regulation.  He did not introduce neither he did sign these laws into being which were introduced by his predecessor.  But Gigaba has preferred to choose the support the new laws last year, as there was immense pressure from the opposition parties and airlines in September 2014 to be exact.
