Indian tourists to Macau is expected to increase this year

According to the Tourism office of the Macau Government (MGTO), it is expecting an important increase of Indian tourists to Macau in 2016.

Head of MGTO, Arzan Khambatta, told that China is top market for Macau, and hoping to see an increase in Indian tourist numbers to Macau this year.  India is among important markets for promotional activities. He also informed that there is no need of visa for Indian citizens, tourists could land up and get free entry in Macau.

Giving more information on for this year’s promotion and marketing plans, he said that they would like to promote the unique cuisine and culture of Macau that is blend of Chinese and Portuguese. According to him, they would like to focus on promoting the culture of Macau. Also like to focus of cuisine of Macau. As this city has world cuisine like Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Indian. Macau also has to present the unique Macanese cuisine that is fusion of Portuguese and Chinese.

He informed that they are mainly focusing on promotion of Macau in all major Indian cities like Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
