Good news for all Indian tourists who are planning to move to France! The government of France has started issuing Schengen visas within two days for travelers moving from India. The concerned authorities of the country noted that it won’t take more than 48 hours to put a request and to get back the passport. This new amendment was scheduled to begin from 2015. French Ambassador to India, Francois Richier revealed that the new facility has been fast-tracked by reducing the possessing time and by issuing the visas at the earliest.
He further added that, previously to process a visa, it used to take more than 15 days, but now the processing time has reduced to two days.
As per the estimates, it was found that around 4, 88,000 Schengen visas were issued to Indian citizens annually and France which is one of the top-notch holiday landing-place to more than three lakh Indians accounts 80,000.
The existing government of France is also planning to invest in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream mission of introducing of speedy train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
This scheme is now in practical study, one by the France and the other by Indian, according to Richier. Mutual corporation between both the nations is about to initiate with investment in high speed train project, according to Richier.
