The tourism of Kerala is about to surge with the launch of TVoA (Tourist Visa on Arrival), an electronic travel authorization facility for overseas nationals of 43 countries at its Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram airports. 

By chance, Kerala is the only state which have got an opportunity to offer best visa facility for applicants’ from overseas nations at its two airports. However, this TVoA facility is also obtainable to foreign tourists at seven others airports of India. Few of the discussions are still in underway to offer the TVoA amenity at Kozhikode airport of Kerala also.

This new facility lets an overseas tourist to pay the fee and apply for a visa through online without worrying to move to the Indian commission in their nations. 

Authorized individuals will get the official tour permission letter in the form of e-mail and will be asked to submit the hard copy of the letter to the concerned authorities upon their landing to the country.

This new scheme will make the travel process effortless and potential tourists to be aware of the added benefits of the visa regime, according to minister for Tourism and welfare of scheduled castes of Kerala, A.P. Anil Kumar.

He further noted that this new promotional campaign will sure surge the tourists count to 30 lakh by 2021. Apart from Kerala other major airports those are offering the TVoA facilitated with ETA service are Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
