Malaysia's Five-Year Multiple Entry Visa accessible for Australian investors

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, said that the Australian foreign finance managers, business visitors and investors can apply for a multiple entry visa for a five years validity period, effective December 2014.  

Malaysia identifies the free mobility of investors, business travelers and skilled experts as a crucial element for successful business ties with Australia.

Malaysian Prime Minister admitted that Australia has been a significant and a vital economic partner in Malaysia and it is one of the Malaysia’s top 10 business partner from past several years.

He added that in the previous year, Australia had occupied ninth place in trading with Malaysia. The mutual services and goods business was prized at RM61.9 billion in 2013, a climb from RM46.2 billion in 2010. This accounts 14.7% rise in three years.

Australia Prime Minister, Tony Abbott and Najib have uttered their pleasure in the venerable alliance between Malaysia and Australia, and their present status of Malaysia-Australia mutual associations.

Both the nations have a substantive support in the fields such as security, education, defense, trade and investment.

Najib also proclaimed that Malaysia has officially accepted Australia's invitation to take part in its New Colombo Plan proposal which would begin in 2015.
