Manitoba conducts the fifth Expression of Interest draw in 2019

Manitoba province held an Expression of Interest draw on March 1 and also invited 403 candidates to seek the provincial nomination for PR in Canada. Presently, the invitations numbers issued in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program add up to 2,267 in this year.

The invited persons had an EOI profile registered in the MPNP. The streams in this case are:

• Skilled Worker Overseas,

• Skilled Worker in Manitoba and finally

• International Education stream

The first step involves Submission of the EOI profile to get consideration for nomination from these streams. The individuals already having the profile, registered in the federal EE system, also have to do it.  Later these profiles get a score depending on the factors like language proficiency, education, work experience, and established connections to the province. Additionally, the candidates having the high ranks receive the Letter of Advice to Apply in regular rounds. Among the group of 216 Skilled Workers foreign candidates, Express Entry candidates also received LAAs in this draw.

All EE candidates receiving the LAA needed having a valid EE ID and also the job-seeker validation code added with six months of recent work experience. This had to be in the profession figuring on In-Demand Occupations List of Manitoba.

Moreover, the EE candidates applying for and also receiving the provincial nomination get 600 additional points in the ranking score, which is an assurance to get the invitation to apply for PR in a later Express Entry draw

The Skilled Workers Overseas candidates receiving the invitations had these credentials:

 

• A close relative living in Manitoba or having a past education/work experience in the province;

• Six months of recent experience in a job figuring on In-Demand Occupations List of Manitoba and finally

• Language proficiency in English or French of CLB 5 attached with some other conditions.

The candidate with the lowest-rank in the Skilled Workers Overseas candidates secured the EOI score of 565.

41 Skilled Worker Overseas candidates received LAAs in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative in this draw. The candidate with the lowest-rank in this group secured the EOI score of 621.

The MPNP issued 126 invitations to candidates belonging to the Skilled Workers in Manitoba with a score of 566.

This Stream moreover, caters to qualified temporary overseas workers as well as global student graduates who presently work in Manitoba and have an offer of the permanent job with their local employer. Additionally, 20 candidates belonging to International Education Stream received the invitations

This stream offers a fast PR pathway to the global graduates studying in the Manitoba post-secondary institutions who possess necessary skills.
