Manitoba Draw - Invites 193 Skilled Immigrant Workers

On October 10th Manitoba invited 193 immigration candidates to seek the provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. The invitees had the registered profile in Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, or International Education Stream of Manitoba. Presently the province has issued 6,574 Letters of Advice to apply in the year to promising immigration aspirants in these paths.

Express Entry


Of these 193 Letters 24 were for candidates who had the valid profile in the federal system of Express Entry.

Qualifying Candidates in the Express Entry pool get a rank depending on the CRS score after considering their work experience, age, educational level, and language ability.

The top scoring candidates get the invitation for applying to Canadian PR in regular pool draws of Express Entry.
The receivers of the provincial nomination also get 600 additional CRS points and are sure to receive the IRCC invitation to apply.

The provincial nomination of Manitoba, demands that the Express Entry candidates must possess work experience in a top demand occupations, and submit with the MPNP a separate Expression of Interest.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba


Candidates having the EOI in Skilled Worker in Manitoba received 147 LAAs. It provides a PR path to for all eligible temporary overseas provincial workers and also to the international graduates completing their studies from post-secondary educational institutions in Manitoba.

The norms for consideration in the candidates are that they must work in Manitoba and also possess the permanent full-time, job offer from the employer.

EOIs of the skilled workers get a score from 1,000 points and the top ranking workers get the LAA. The minimum score of Skilled Workers in Manitoba in this draw was 567.

Skilled Worker Overseas


Candidates belonging to Category of Skilled Worker Overseas received 22 LAAs. These selected Candidates were invited directly in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative, which is the result of overseas recruiting missions arranged by the MPNP, with the involvement of Manitoba employers.

Candidates in the stream get a rank based on the EOI scoring system. SWO candidates needed 718 Point score to get the LAA in the draw.

International Education Stream


The provincial graduates having top demand skills get invited in the International Education Stream. This has three categories: 

• Graduate Internship Pathway, 

• Career Employment Pathway, 

• Student Entrepreneur Pathway

The Program issued 24 LAAs to IES candidates in the draw and it did not have a minimum score. We highlight all the provincial draws and our patrons can contact us.
