Candidates belonging to Skilled Workers Manitoba Stream with provincial work experience received a major share in the recent draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. It was held on July 18th and was the 70th draw of the MPNP, in which 110 among the 173 Letters of Advice to Apply were issued for Manitoba immigration.
The minimum score expectation for these candidates was 539 points. Additionally, 40 LAAs were issued in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative, which is included in the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream. The least ranked candidates had a score of 718 points. It is initiated when candidates receive the invitation for fulfilling a specified labor market requirement. The International Education Stream had a share of 23 LAAs.
Manitoba clarified that 29 candidates among the 173 possessed valid Express Entry ID and also had the Job Seeker Validation Codes.

Moreover, in the previous provincial draw held on July 5th 248 of 354 LAAs were issued to candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream.
In this draw 203 LAAs were issued in the Human Capital Pathway of SWO and 45 in SRI.
For qualifying these HCP candidates had to score 594 points and also meet these requirements:
• Either having a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker Validation Code, besides six months of current experience in a job present in Manitoba In-demand Occupations list
• The second classification was having a close relative or past education and work experience within the province.
• Having 6 months of current experience in a provincial in-demand occupation
• Meeting the minimum requirements in language
SRI candidates had to get a score of 619.
85 LAAs were issued to Skilled Workers in Manitoba candidates, requiring the candidates to score 565 points.
21 LAAs were also issued after using the International Education Stream.

Qualifying for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
The Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream meets the precise needs of local employers. It selects workers trained overseas who possess the necessary skills and also nominates them to get the permanent residence in Canada. The stream gives a priority to such candidates who have the strong connection to province and offers two immigration pathways.
a) Manitoba Work Experience Pathway

a) Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
It meets the needs of global candidates who are eligible in a different MPNP stream, and meet the criteria of Express Entry besides having an active profile in Express Entry. Applicants and spouses having a close family connection, experience and training to get a job quickly get a Priority here.
b) Human Capital Pathway
It meets the needs of global skilled workers having training and skills in In-Demand Occupations of Manitoba. Candidates must show possibility of finding a job soon after their arrival in the province.
The Requirements for the International Education Stream
It meets the needs of global graduates from local colleges/universities. Under the norms of IES, applicants do not require working for six months in their sphere before seeking the MPNP nomination. These are the pathways:
1) Career Employment Path
This path requires completing one-year course from eligible post-secondary local institution in three years of submitting an application besides a job offer (full-time) in a local top Demand occupation relevant to a complete degree. Finally they must be Manitoba Residents
2) Graduate Internship Path
This path caters to holders of a Master’s and Doctor degree who complete Elevate or Mitacs Accelerate internships who can seek nomination by using internships even when they do not have a provincial job offer.
3) Student Entrepreneur Path
This path caters to candidates who complete a two-year course from a post-secondary local institution besides experience of provincial business operation for Six months. Finally, they must be Manitoba Residents since graduation. There is no requirement of minimum personal net worth here.
