Manitoba Invites 170 Applicants in the Recent EOI Draw

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted an Expression of Interest draw on May 9 and issued 170 invitations to the applicants seeking the provincial nomination. Including this draw, the number of invitations totally issued by the Province in 2019 has crossed the 4000 mark and is presently 4071.

Moreover, in the draw, 15 invitations out of the 170 were issued to the Express Entry candidates having the valid profile as well the Job-Seeker Validation Code. Such candidates obtaining the MPNP nomination receive additional 600 CRS points. This is practically a guarantee to get the invitation to apply to seek the Canadian permanent residence in a later draw. Also, Many of the invitations – 101- belonged to candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream In this draw. The least score of the selected candidate in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba was 569.

Candidates belonging to Skilled Workers Overseas received 52 invitations and candidates of International Education Stream received 17 invitations. The least score for the Skilled Workers Overseas was 616. The International Education Stream caters to such students who graduate from the Manitoban post-secondary institutions. All the invitees in the Skilled Workers Overseas candidates belonged to the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Obtaining the provincial nomination 

The initial step for candidates to get the provincial nomination is submitting the EOI to the Program. In it, the candidate provides all relevant information regarding educational qualifications, work experience, and proficiency in a language. Based on it the candidates get a profile score based. The top scoring candidates get the invitation to apply and seek the provincial nomination in regular draws.
