Effective 30 April 2015, Manitoba, a Canadian Province will start accepting applications for the MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) to hire skilled overseas nationals across the globe.
The Manitoba is planning to include process enhancements from the new Express Entry system that was outlined by the Canadian Government to accelerate the application process for skilled professionals.
Manitoba’s visa scheme will be listed under the Express Entry system. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has announced a new sub-class to nominate certain applicants of the MPNP to consider under the Express Entry system.
According to the pilot stage of the scheme, applicants who satisfy the criteria and who are directly contacted by the MPNP will be taken under consideration for nomination in the new Express Entry sub-stream of MPNP. The MPNP will have a direct connection with candidates who hold an existing application with a file number of MPNP in the skilled worker clause in the inventory. And, applicants who are capable to satisfy the requirements any of the federal economic programs listed in the Express Entry as per the evaluation of the MPNP immigration authority will be contacted directly.
After being contacted by the MPNP, candidates who are selected should present Educational Credentials Assessment for Federal Skilled Worker applicants and a proof showing you hold enough funds on par with higher federal requirements. And, applicants need to provide a proof of Express Entry profile by presenting their ID as well as Job seeker validation codes with the MPNP.
All the nominated applicants are required to prove that they satisfy the federal criteria while filing their permanent residency application through the Express Entry. MPNP also has plans to initiate an expanded process for taking in more applicants for nomination under the federal Express Entry system.
