The Federal Express Entry applicants who applied and received a provincial nomination are obtained an extra 600 points toward their ranking score, which highly guarantees an invitation from the Canadian Govt to apply for the permanent residency.

Three Federal Express Entry system

The Express Entry system control the pool of applicants for Canada’s three crucial economic immigration types:

  • CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
  • FSWC (Federal Skilled Worker Class)
  • FSTC (Federal Skilled Trades Class)

In order to be eligible for Saskatchewan immigration program, Express Entry individuals should register a separate express entry profile with the SINP program (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) under its EOI (Expression of Interest) system.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program NOV 23rd Draw

This Nov 23 draw is the 5th draw for both express entry and occupation in demand categories since Saskatchewan province shifted them from a first-come, the first-served selection process to an Express Of Interest system in July.

Under an Expression Of Interest system, the first step for candidates who wish to be considered for Saskatchewan provincial nomination Is to create an express entry profile and offer the requested details on several factors such as age, education, proficiency in English or French and work experience.

Candidates profiles will be stored in accordance with the point grid based test on the details provided and qualified profiles are entered into the EOI pool for the related category, where they will be ranked based on their CRS score.

Invitations will be issued to the high score obtained candidates through their regular rounds. An employment offer is not required for the Saskatchewan.

The OID category is for qualified applicants outside the Express Entry who score a minimum of 60 points on points tested grid and must have minimum one year of experience in the past decade in any of the province’s in-demand occupations. For this also job offer is not required.

Saskatchewan has issued 3,337 invitations up to now through its International Skilled Worker EOI system, of which 1,785 were issued to Occupation In-Demand candidates and 1,552 went to Express Entry candidates.
