UK government’s body Tech City UK has made an announcement regarding the launch of revised
Tech Nation Visa Scheme that will be making easier for the technology startups to attract the top talent from non-EU nations.
After consultations with the founders of technology business and the industry leaders on the rising challenges of hiring the digitally skilled workers, this Tier 1 Exceptional Tech Talent Visa scheme came with the four new qualifying requirements.
These four new requirements are as follows, the first one is the provision that is designed to help the companies for getting the talent they require to reach quickly. The second one is that this revised visa scheme will consider the applications from the individuals with promise for opening up access to the aspiring talent from outside of the EU. The third one is the fast track application procedure for the digital businesses in the areas like Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield and Sunderland. Tech North will also be provide the services for visa support. The fourth one is that the group of five people from non-EU nations would be able to apply at a time for consideration of the visa for enabling the UK startups to attract the teams with high performance and with the proven track record.
The complete requirement and the application process for this Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa route will go live on 12th November.
