Students from India would not be deprived entry in the US if they are genuine students and if they are able to express properly about the purpose of their visit to the immigration officials of the US. This was said by Joseph M Pomper, Counselor for Consular Affairs.
Clarification from Pomper came after many students from India who seek to study in the US were deprived entry in the US recently.
Pomper has urged the students to use the its recognized and official platforms like EducationUSA for pursuing their interest in foreign education.
According to him, it is advisable for the students to get in touch with the platform and obtain the access to authentic data for steering them in right direction.
Asking about those two US universities, he maintained that those US universities were not blacklisted.
