Over 50 representatives of the various universities, government organizations and the higher education institutions from all over the world will be present in Qatar for the Global Education Fair which is opening in Doha from Tuesday.
The Sheraton Doha will host this two-day event, which will be aiming to provide students from the high schools and universities with the insight on a wide range of study options that are offered at the institutions that are providing higher education in Qatar and around 15 other countries.
Qatar University President and Chief academic officer Dr Mazen Hasna told reporters that the agenda’s part will be having the sessions in form of workshops that are presented by the renowned speakers from the local and other global institutions like Education USA, University of California, English UK, Qatar University, Campus France and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU).
According to him, this event is coming as the part of the Qatar University’s strategic plan for showcasing the graduate and undergraduate programmes and to provide strength to the foreign reputation as the key partner in driving forward the Qatar’s goals to be the leader in providing the quality education in the region.
This education fair will be the part of the series that will takes place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait and it is sponsored by the Qatar University and HBKU.
This event is the great opportunity for the students from high school, universities and their parents to become aware with every type of options in education that these institutions are offering like recruitment, scholarships, internships, training and much more.
This education fair will also be addressing the issues like opportunities of pursuing overseas education such as choosing the right college, accommodation, application and its visa process and many other things.
