According to the report of Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) the number of tourist inflow to the Egypt in the month of June 2015 had totaled to 820,000 which is a 4.4 percent increase compared to the same month of last year.
Eastern Europe sent the record number of tourists with 44.7 percent followed by the Western Europe at 31.1 percent and the Middle East recording 13.4 percent.
Among the countries Russia has the lion share of the Eastern Europe contributing 67.9 percent of them; the German tourists make 30.7 percent among Western Europe countries, while Libyan tourists dominate among the countries in the Middle East.
The number of tourist departures in June 2015 has reached 811,400 when compared to the tourists in the last year June 2014 which is an increase of 7.9 percent, as per the CAPMAS report.
Despite the Ruble abysmal performance in the last year 2014, Russia boosted the Egyptian tourism sector contributing 3 million tourists, and the spending rates is in between $50 to $55 per every night.
There are also several campaigns launched for to attract the tourists from the Gulf region to the countries the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
