Skilled Workers and International Graduates obtain BC Immigration Invitation

On May 7, British Columbia has invited international graduates and skilled workers for applying in its new draw for Provincial Nominee Program. The authorities issued 187 Invitations to candidates in five BC PNP streams in this draw.

There was no change in the Minimum scores in comparison to the draw held two weeks ago.

The points-requirement was 95 in direct provincial skilled workers and 105 for Express Entry skilled workers. It was 105 points for International graduates in the direct provincial as well as Express Entry streams. Finally, for the semi-skilled/ entry-level workers, it was 75 points only.

The focus in the previous draw was on 29 occupations figuring in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. 64 invitations were issued in four BC PNP streams in the April 30 draw.

Furthermore, Entry in all the four streams required a Minimum score of 90.

The Provincial Tech Pilot was extended into 2019 and also has 29 target occupations with comfortable duration requirements. The PNP draws specifically aim to attract technology workers as it has a buzzing technology industry having many big names of technology.

• The Job offer should be for a targeted occupations

• It must be for a one-year duration and finally

• It should be valid for 120 days at the time of application

After obtaining the provincial nomination there is a sure guarantee of selection in the Canadian Express Entry System, because of the addition of the 600 CRS points.

The province also publishes all the scores immigrants necessary to get an immigration invitation.
