Last Year the numbers of tourist arrival on e-visa were 19,139 but this year the numbers increased in a dramatic way. In the last month, 70,045 foreign individuals have visited India on E-visa. This one is really a spectacular improvement. The growth rate of tourist arrival increased to 266% in comparison to the previous year. The UK, USA, and Russia always occupy the top positions for providing the e-visa facility.
The growth rate of tourist arrival in the first four months of this year is really admirable. The new initiative of immigration policy has increased the numbers of tourist arrival in India. There is 94,998 tourists have visited India during the first four months of 2015 but this year the number reached to 3,91,094 during the same period. According to the official report, the growth rate is increasing 311.7 percent than that of the last year.
The e-visa program has introduced on November 27, 2014. As of now, the facility is available for the peoples of 150 nations arriving at 16 Indian airports. This is a great boost to the financial growth of the country.
The availing facility of UK was 18.82 in the month of March whereas US 14.08 percent, Russia 8.16 percent, France 7.12 percent, china 6.31 percent, Australia 4.67 percent, Germany 4.32 percent and Canada 3.70 percent are availing this facility.
