Universities of countries like US, UK, Canada and Australia are the most top searched by foreign students from across the world.
Those days are gone when a student who wants to find out information about the universities would rather go on a trip to University campus and get the copy of the prospectus. All the information regarding courses and eligibility requirement would be available in those prospectuses that were printed featuring some photographs for attracting the students.
But now in this 21st century and in the age of internet, it’s easy for the foreign students to find out information regarding the top most universities of the world for pursuing education.
According to a report, the market of foreign student has been doubled since the year 2000 and had also become more attractive and competitive. Now if we take a look at UK, the foreign students are value 7 billion pounds every year in the UK. As the post graduation, courses in the UK have a majority of foreign students which is bringing more earnings to the universities in the UK.
According to information received, in the year 2014, US universities are the most top searched among the foreign students from around the world. The US has recaptured its position as the world’s major market for foreign students.
UK is just behind the US, as the second leading destination for the foreign students and Canada is on the third position. From the year 2008 till 2014 there was an increase in search for UK universities by foreign students.
According to the statistics from UNESCO, over a period of ten years, Canada has raised the intake of foreign students by up to 80%. Canada seems to be ahead of Netherlands, Australia and Germany.
Meanwhile, the Asian countries remained the biggest exporter of foreign students. China remains on top followed by India.
Universities need to keep on changing their trends in technology that are used by the students and if they want to attract them.
