Role of tourism is major towards job creation and growth in economy

The Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister, Ali Tayyebnia said that the president, Hassan Rouhani feels that encouraging tourism is significant for job creation and growth in the economy, according to IRNA news agency.

Expansion of hotels, enhancement of accommodation and services of recreation are considered to be the major requirements, he added.

The government has plans to encourage hotel management and aid the tourism sector as part of its intent to raise investment in the tourism sector, he said 

Hassan Rouhani’s government has announced plans to simplify visa requirements to increase the number of visitors and encourage the yearly income of the nation from $5 billion at present to $10 billion.

Nationals of Australia, Japan, South Korea and China have majorly accounted for foreign tourists in Iran.
