Tourist arriving on e-tourist visa to get a gift from Tourism Ministry

Tourists arriving in India on an e-tourist visa will soon be receiving a gift kit from the Ministry of Tourism that will consist of a SIM card, along with other things.

According to the sources from Ministry of Tourism, this would be a gift from the Ministry of Tourism; it would be given to tourists who visit India on an ETV.

The gift will consist of SIM card that the tourists could use for calling after they had recharged it. Apart from that, it will also consist booklets, maps, a CD with complete information about different tourists destinations, instructions related to the dos and don’ts details about whom to get in touch with in emergency, along with other things.

As per the sources, initially, it will cover tourists who arrive on an e- tourist visa and after some period of time to some other categories as well.
