UK creates a new visa category for foreign language teachers
The immigration policy of United Kingdom has created a new category of visas for the language teachers of foreign counties. UK aims to have knowledge sharing and also create awareness of foreign culture in its nation through the new visa category. Mandarin teaching scheme, which is regarded as the first of the schemes under the created new visa category, has intentions of encouraging good cultural relations between China and United Kingdom.

Various changes that were made in the immigration rules of UK have come into effect from 13th March, 2014. An important change includes the latest category of visas pertaining to the language teachers who are sponsored by the government, thus expanding the Tier1 (Exceptional Talent) visa.

The various changes made to the immigration rules will aid the businesses of United Kingdom, to hire the best talent worldwide in order to support its sector of digital technology and also enhance its relationship with China.

British Immigration and Security Minister, James Brokenshire has said that these new changes will ensure that UK would remain highly competitive in attracting worldwide talent to work for the businesses in Britain, so that they can succeed in the global race.
