UK immigration cancels more licenses for Tier 2 visa sponsorship

The UK immigration is suspending the license for Tier 2 visa sponsorship of many companies as they find non compliance in the license requirements for Tier 2 sponsorships.


Companies working with the license for Tier 2 sponsorships have many responsibilities to stick to a base and the authorities come up with the increased hardliners to enforce the license requirements for Tier 2 sponsorship. The companies who are having the license for Tier 2 visa sponsorships are at increased risk of their license being suspended.

Tier 2 sponsor has the responsibility of checking that the migrant who is employed is legally permitted for doing the job with right qualification and registration of job of a particular type. Home Office wants the employers that they keep the visa, current passport, and contact information on file for all the immigrants under Tier 2 sponsorships.

Tier 2 sponsor are also required systems for human resource in place that allows them to monitor the employees status of immigration. And if the migrant with Tier 2 visa ceases to get sponsored, or if he is absent from the work, they terminates their contracts, sponsors have to report the changes on the system of sponsorship management to Visas and Immigration of UK.  And if the workers under sponsored Tier 2 are not meeting their conditions of visa, Visas and Immigration of UK, an employer should also inform this.

Guy Levin, executive officer of Coadec and former advisor to the government criticized the government’s way of handling the visa under Tier 2 for migrants.
