The people of china who are intending to visit UK would be able to avail a visa within a single day.
According to Dominique Hardy, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regional manager, this provision of obtaining a visa in a single day would be launched during this summer.
The cost of this service for providing visas at a faster rate would cost 600 pounds which is equal to 1,004 US Dollars.
Currently, the 3 to 5 day priority visa service is priced at 100 pounds, over the application fee.
According to Brian Davidson, UK'S consul general in Shanghai, there has been a significant increase in the number of visitors from China during the recent years.
He also said that in 2012, the number of visa applications received from the Chinese nationals has raised by 31%. The highest ever seen by United Kingdom.
In the year 2013, UK Visas and Immigration has issued 291,919 visas to the visitors of China, a 39 % rise when compared to the previous year.
Davidson said that in 2013, the average time required to process the UK visa applications in China had been just above 7 days.
UK has been improving its 12 visa application centers all over China.
