Ukraine prime minister is all set to launch visa regime for Russian citizens

The government of Ukraine is ready to launch visas for Russia if there is any need – Ukraine prime minister Arseniy on Thursday. 

The prime minister in one of his interviews with the Ukraine 24 news channel said that if there is additional need to launch visa regime, then it be launched. Further he added, that the country is satisfied with the control at the checkpoints on the border of Russia and Ukraine and the key priority of Kiev (capital of Ukraine) is to put the wall project to action, which is assumed to construct an actual border between Ukraine and Russia.

This issue for launching visas for the citizens of Russia has been raised in March in the middle of Kiev’s fuming objections to the ratification of crimes with Russia. The prime minister addressing the issue said that the capital of Ukraine (Kiev) should be cautious about the launching the visas to Russia as it can have a negative blow on the citizens of Ukraine. He also mentioned that many Ukrainians are mostly Russian speaking south east regions of the country are interested in preserving the visa free system, as they often work in Russia and also have relatives there.
