British Ambassador, Sir John Jenkins, said, that every year UK welcomes more than 100,000 Saudis. Around 45,000 visa applications are received from the western region of UK itself requesting visas only for education and tourism purposes.
He added that the number of visitors from Saudi to UK has increased up to 20% and expects that more citizens of British might travel to Saudi Arabia.
British Embassy spokesman, Steven Dick, said that around 16,000 to 20,000 students are moving to the UK through the same visa procedure whether they are a part of scholarship or not.
