US Embassy will organize a Student Visa Day on 19 June 2014 in Delhi when over thousands of students who are applying for higher studies in US will be welcomed and treated to festive and academic atmosphere.
Embassy will welcome the aspirants who are applying for J, M and F visas to pursue their higher studies in US.
Representatives from Education USA Center at United States - India Educational Foundation and the staff from US embassy will address the event to provide information and tips on academic and campus life for visa applicants. Since October 2013 huge number of students has applied for visas in India.
This year it is observed that there has been a rise of 40% rise in the issuance of student visas, when compared to the same period in last year. At present around 1,00,000 Indian students are studying in US.
