Two United States Representative from New Jersey and California introduced legislation to contain Indian businesses that are mainly sending software professionals on H-1B and L-1 Visas. Over 70 percent of H-1B and L-1 Visas are used by the Indian based companies to employ foreign professionals in the United States.

Republican Dana Rohrabacher from California, Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell from New Jersey introduced 'H-1B and L-1 Visa Reform Act of 2016' to contain usage of H-1B visas by Indian tech giants. Numerous people raised the issue of visa abuse by the Indian and American corporations as well.

The major problem was many countries unethical practices and systemic use of loopholes to bring foreign nationals in place of American citizens. The Representatives demanded tough laws that close the loopholes of the system.

The complaints of visa abuse since last five years are very high; the United States must work on immigration system which is free from loopholes and benefits the US economy.
