Proposals to provide visa-on- arrival facility to SAARC nationals

The SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) called for visa-on-arrival facility in countries of SAARC region to encourage socio-economic richness in South Asia.

SAARC CCI  delegation leader of Pakistan, Iftikhar Ali Malik said that free movement of business people in the SAARC region is important and must follow multiple-entry policy on mutual basis.

SAARC is the residence for over one-fifth of the world population, representing the largest unit. This region consists of 45% of young population and has 12 percent of the global natural resources and available resources.

Besides, SAARC nations have emerged as the top tourist destinations in the world.
