Enrollment of international students in the US colleges is on the rise

According to a report, there are around 1.13 million overseas students in the US, and most of the students are in the college degree programs.

There has been around 14% of increase in enrollment by overseas students in the colleges of the US.

As per the reports, around 29% of the entire foreign students are from China with around 3,31,371 students, leading with the biggest number of students in one country. Around 8,55,807 students are from Asian countries like China, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Japan.

According to the US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs, to visit the US, an individual of any foreign country has to get a visa. 

Immigrant visa permits an individual to stay permanently in the US, while a non-immigrant visa permits for a temporary residence. To apply for a student visa, student should initially be accepted in the Student and Exchange Visa Program.

Accepted by more than 9000 universities and colleges in more than 130 countries, the TOEFL test is the most widely recognized English-language test in the world.
