Taiwanese to benefit from extended validity period of Brazil’s Business visa

Good news for Taiwanese nationals wishing to do business in Brazil. The Ministry of Economic Affairs for Taiwan stated the move to extend the validity period of business visas for its nationals will boost bilateral links and assist exporters of Taiwan to enter the Brazilian market.

According to the ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Brazil stated that its consulates and embassies have determined to extend the business visa validity period to 3 years from 90 days.

The ministry stated that the extension of validity period will be help more Taiwanese firms to carry out business activities in Brazil. It also stated that Brazil is strongly determined to bolster its investment environment and entice more overseas investors.

Brazil is the South America’s largest economy and world's 7th largest economy. The country has the robust domestic consumption, which made Taiwan to choose the nation for exporters and to explore, added ministry. 

Besides textiles, the ministry is interested in rubber and plastic products, renewable energy devices and machine tools. 

The investors of Taiwan had invested US$292 million in around 30 Brazil projects, covering various sectors.
