UK Government agreed to relax the system for tech visas amid shortage of skills

The rules on the visas for the overseas technology specialist is to be completely overhauled after the complaints from the industry startups and the giants that they are struggling to recruit the staff to match their growth.

Government will make it easier for the non-EU citizens with the specialist technology skills to visit the country for work by the introduction of series of new ways for meeting the criteria.

The relaxation will come into force from next month, that have been agreed in response to the concerns that the original scheme which was unveiled by Prime Minister two years back has failed to meet the requirements of technology companies which are growing faster.

There would now be four ways for the overseas technology specialists for meeting the criteria. And there will also be a new fast track route for the workers that are being brought in for assisting the companies who are trying to grow towards a flotation of stock market which include finance, software coding and specialists of online security.

This would be the first time as the teams of potential overseas technology specialists would also be able to apply for the visa as a group, increasing the possibility of wider net for acquire-hire deals that the startups often used to speed up their growth.
