Immigration attains 76,000 during first half of the year

The number of immigrants coming into Netherlands has raised by 8,600 during the initial half of this year to 76,000, compared to the equivalent period in 2013, revealed a report by CBS.

Nationals of Poland have constituted the major share of immigrants causing to increase in the number of poles living in the nation to more than 100,000.Majority of them come to Netherlands to work especially in the fields of agriculture and construction.

According to the report around 50 percent of them reside in the country for ten years and leave.

Bulgarians visiting Netherlands remained stable, while the number of Romanians entering Netherlands has doubled to 2,300 in the initial half of the year compared with the previous year.
