The British High Commission located in New Delhi will evaluate the essential documents and issue visas to nationals of Bangladesh, effective 1 October 2014.
Bangladeshi applicants are not required to transit India for visas. Nevertheless, the applicants should not notice any changes in either the quality or the speediness of the services. The necessary arrangements will be made by the UK Visa Application Centers situated in the Dhaka and Sylhet offices.
Out of three stages, two phases includes Decisions on Settlement and Points Based System applications are currently being evaluated in New Delhi. The last phase of all visa application categories filed from 7 September 2014 will be inspected from the given timeline.
The service cost will remain same and they will persist to operate within the prevailing service standards of 15 working days for non-settlement cases, whereas, 60 working days for settlement cases.
