The low-cost airline subsidiary of Air India isall set to proffer electronic UAE visa facility, said an airline top authority on Sunday in Dubai. This reportedly boosts the bilateral airline’s trade and also aids in enhancing the in-flow of short term stay visitors to the nation.
AIE (Air India Express) CEO, K. Shyam Sundar promulgated in a press meet that they are in the process of offering online visa facility to UAE. He also added that the plan is anticipated to introduce in the month of March on 31st. Sundar noted that this will benefit all the individuals who are staying in the nation to call their near and dear ones for temporary visits.
This new service also facilitates the Indian citizens to have short trips to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and many more, he added.
Air India Express is working together with Arabian Travel Agency to put forth the plan at the earliest, says manager of AI and AIE, Prem Sagar.
Prem Sagar has also stated that an applicant who takes the AIE ticket and visa singly will be offered the visa and tickets at affordable rates. The new satellite office that has been opened in Sharjah for AIE, handles all ticketing needs, additional services and reservations.
In order to meet the requirements of individuals during the summer, Air India Express has planned to offer better services by offering direct airlines from Mangalore to Muscat and Abu Dhabi.
The return flights from Muscat and Abu Dhabi will depart at 2.20 am and will arrive in Mangalore at 7.35 am, says the concerned authorities of airlines. Enhancing the number of flights between Kerala and UAE during summer will also aid in attaining more profits, says the officials.
Apart from this, they are also planning to make further modifications in airline facilitations to surge the inflow of visitors to the nation and to increase their profits.
