Express entry immigration system for overseas skilled workers

The Canadian government is planning to introduce the new migration program called express entry for skilled workers from 1 Jan. In the new scheme of express entry, all the skilled workers will be placed in the vacant jobs list of 50 occupations based on their scores and abilities. 

Once the workers aid in the development of the country’s economy, all the highly skilled eligible candidates will be asked to apply for citizenship of Canada, which will be processed within six months.

With the idea of offering a job ready in hand, more individuals will show interest to move to the country, the Executive of skills policy at the Canadian chamber of commerce Sarah Anso -Cartwright said. 

Few of the other details regarding the program that were revealed by the government are Paper application submission will be accepted only for the individuals with injuries and disabilities.

The federal government expects only less number of paper applications from candidates Electronic submission of an application costs 6.7 dollars for the government.

Migration minister of Canada, Chris Alexander said that the new program would alter the method of selecting the skilled worker.
