According to official from Home Office, India want to link the database of Interpol RCN with India’s network of e-tourist visa so that no individual who has got RCN against him is provided the travel document and it should be detected at the time of application.

E- Tourist was started on 27th November 2014, under this scheme, an applicant who gets an email that authorizes him/her for traveling to India following its approval as they could take printout of that authorization.
