Russia has promised to look in India’s request for overview of work permits and also the permits for temporary resident to the citizen of India.
In a meeting at Russia’ city Sochi, Indian Minister of State for Home Affairs,
Mr. Kiren Rijiju raised this issue with the Russian Minister and Federal Migration Service Chief, Mr. Konstantin Romodanovsky regarding overview of the work permits and granting permits for temporary resident to the citizens of India.
The officials’ statement says that the Russian Minister was cooperative and had promised to look at the issues on the priority basis.
Indian side was also invited by Romodanovsky for visiting and viewing the system that exists regarding the migration and immigration which is followed in Russia.
This bilateral meeting between these two counterparts took place on the sideline of ministerial meeting of
BRICS nations on migration that was held at Russia’s city Sochi.
