Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander selected 849 skilled workers from express entry pool and has invited them to apply for permanent residency in the country. Since the promulgation of Express Entry in January 2015, it is the third raffle. As per the new records of CIC, it was found that candidates, who have been invited to apply for permanent residency hold appropriate and eligible job offer from the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) department.
It was also found that the minimum marks scored by the selected individuals in pool aware 808 and every individual possess special skills and abilities as per the norms of the country. In the express entry new immigration management scheme, each skilled individual is awarded a maximum of 600 points as per the credentials he or she possess such as work experience, language skills, education and age. Apart from this, additional points of 600 will be given for a skilled worker who possesses a valid job offer letter from the concerned officials of Labour Market Impact Assessment.
Canadian government has planned to welcome nearly of 185,000 orders across the globe to reside and work in the country permanently. And till date they have received 3000 applications from overseas workers.
