The Ontario's Government has issued 15 new invitations to apply to the immigrant entrepreneurs in the latest draw declared on Nov 23rd, 2018. The minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score required to eligible for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program new draw was 112.
OINP's Entrepreneur Stream is conducting to attract the candidates who wish to launch a new business or to own an existing business in Ontario province.
Immigrant Entrepreneur Stream
The Immigrant Entrepreneur stream running on an EOI ('Expression of Interest') pattern that needs interested applicants to complete an EOI profile and submit the data on several factors regarding their investments, human capital, work experience etc.
Interested candidates are given CRS scores based on their answers. The maximum Comprehensive Ranking System score available in this draw is 170 points. Based on a performance agreement, successful candidates will get a support letter of a temporary work permit to establish a new business or to own existing business in Ontario.
The applicants who are interested in the investment and employment creation needs to be outlined in the agreement can then be directly nominated by the Ontario province for obtaining Canadian permanent residence.

The OINP program enables Ontario to nominate for Canadian permanent residence, candidates who are having the required skills and work experience to contribute sincerely to the Ontario’s economy, and helps employers in retaining and recruiting overseas workers.
This program is operated by the Ontario province in partnership with the Express Entry federal government via IRCC. IRCC will make the final decision on all the nominated application and issues Candian PR visas to the eligible applicants.
