The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, John McCallum, in accordance with section 10.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, granted the annexed Ministerial Instructions Respecting Invitations, to apply for Permanent Residency under the Express Entry System.
The 43rd Canada Express Entry Draw has issued PR invitations to 1,288 candidates successfully, who secured 483 points in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System, held on 21st September 2016. 1000 candidates with a CRS score of 491 or above were issued ITA during the
42nd Express Entry Draw which was held on September 7, 2016.”
The IRPA or Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of 2002, imparts the legislative authority for
Canadian immigration. IRPA includes varied provisions that permit the Minister to discharge significant instructions to immigration officials, thus enabling the Canadian Government to best achieve its immigration goals.
MIs…or Ministerial Instructions are commonly issued for short periods of time, and can deal with a diverse scope of issues, for example… temporary residency processing to federal skilled worker selection and intake of applications.
