Australian and New Zealand Universities are offering scholarships for foreign students

Wellington’s Victoria University is offering 35 doctoral scholarships for foreign students. The scholarships are available for pursuing doctoral or Ph.D. degree program. Students would get $23,500 which is around 15.8 lakh rupees stipend yearly and tuition fee. The scholarships would be tenable for the period of three years. Applications for the scholarships would close on 1st July 2016.

Scholarships would be granted on academic merit and are open to the students from any discipline. Those students who had finished their education in Victoria should include a certified copy of their education record from other institutions along with the application. The applicants with a University degree from outside New Zealand would be considered in two categories:

1st Category: The applicants from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany or Ireland, should submit their certified or original copy of their university transcript.

2nd Category: The applicants from any other country should had their transcript assessed and verified with the course by course evaluation by the educational evaluators.

Offers would be made approximately six months after the closing date in the month of July and November of the application year.

Australia’s Monash University is also providing around 31 merit scholarships for the foreign students. The scholarships would be given to undertake full-time postgraduate or undergraduate degree program.

Students would be assessed on their statement for scholarship application which would be of around 500 words and their latent to be an ambassador for the Monash University. Preference would be given to the beginning students.

The entire average value of the scholarships is around $50,000 which is approximately around 33.6 lakh rupees on a five-year degree and around $10,000 which is 6.7 lakh rupees for full-time study program with 48 credit points paid every year till the least number of points for degree is completed.
