The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has approved 16 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a draw for its investor program. The least score requirement was 133 in this draw, which is in line with the earlier draws of the initiative.
This is an immigration approach of this Canadian province to provide Permanent Residence to the foreign entrepreneur who will be able to settle down in British Columbia, while their investment will enhance the growth of the economy in this territory. Under this stream, applicants are evaluated depend on several factors, including business experience, adaptability, the purpose of business, the net capital amount of the investor.
An obligatory online registration system has been launched for all potential candidates to enter the Entrepreneur Immigration stream of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. Maximum numbers of applications those may be approved within a month under this proposal is set to 200.
Applicant's final registration scores are ranked along with other applicants. The British Columbia PNP sporadically welcomes the top-scoring of these candidates to submit their applications to the Entrepreneur Immigration stream. The selected applicants are eligible to obtain the work permit and will get the permanent residence of Canada under British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, as long as the business of the foreign entrepreneur can fulfill the criteria of the BC PNP.
