In the 105th draw held on November 28th Canada announced the issuing of 3,900 fresh invitations for candidates in the Express Entry, intending to seek permanent residence. IRCC also used the tie-break mechanism for candidates who had a score of 445. With this all candidates who submitted the profiles in Express Entry, before Oct 22, 2018, at 14:40:13 UTC, and had a CRS score of 445 or above received the invitations.
The norms for entering the pool, mention that the foreign candidates have to fulfill the eligibility norms. These pertain to the economic immigration program from the following:
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)
- Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
Having entered the pool of Express Entry, candidates gain a CRS score from 1,200 points depending on characteristics, education, language ability and work experience.

104th Express Entry draw was held on November 15, 2018 and 3,900 received the invitation. It had a CRS of 449 which was of great help to the candidates to get through.
IRCC carries out draws based on requirements for selecting the high ranking candidates. These Candidates can also take steps for improving their ranking by retaking the language tests, or through the provincial nomination. Yet another way is to acquire more educational credentials. Moreover, the Candidates receiving the ITA for now get 60 days for submitting a complete PR application to Immigration authorities.
