About one lakh thirty two thousand students from India in the US are representing as the second biggest group of international students who are pursuing education in the US. This was informed by Dustin Dockiewicz, who is the Vise Consul of the US Consulate in Mumbai.
Dustin Dockiewicz also said that large numbers of Indian students are favoring to get the admission in the educational institutions in the US. He also informed that Indian students have made up 13% of population as the foreign students in the US.
Almost 785 of Indian students who are studying in the US choose to study in the subjects like technology, science, mathematics and engineering.
Approximately 1.3 million foreign students are pursuing their education in the universities of the US, and there are around 9000 certified academic institutions in the country that gives admissions to all those students.
