Kuwait is set to discuss the new structure for emigration of Indian workers

The authorities from Kuwait are all set for holding a meeting to discuss the method of getting in the Indian workers to their country after the Indian government has imposed new rules and regulations for people who seek to work abroad.

According to the Kuwait Interior Ministry assistant undersecretary for nationality and residency affairs, Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah, the labourers from India are still kept on hold as the Indian authorities had imposed the bank guarantee for the domestic helpers, keeping it as a condition for bringing them to Kuwait.

Al- Jarrah would be discussing the provisions with the Interior Ministry undersecretary, Sulaiman Al- Fahad.

According to him, the employer from Kuwait would not have to bear additional burden for getting in labourer from India.

In order to grant a visa for the Indian applicant, a condition has been imposed by the immigration administration that the applicant should have financial guarantee in form of bank guarantee.

The bank guarantee scheme which has been proposed is for enabling immigration administration for pursuing more liberal and flexible visa practice which will give the applicant, opportunity for strengthening their conditions at the time they of their return.
