The UK Deputy High Commissioner to Hyderabad Andrew McAllister has formally inaugurated the Ireland and UK’s latest Visa Application Centre (VAC) at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
According to McAllister, previous year UK had witnessed around 17% hike in the visit visa numbers granted to the citizens from India and UK is hoping to see that the numbers continue to increase as many visitors from India are choosing to travel the UK as their next travel destination.
He also said that previous year the travelers from India had spent around 44 million pounds in the UK. He also made a statement that the latest VAC would make it easy for the people, who are willing to go on a holiday in Europe or who want to visit Europe on a business trip to apply for their Schengen and UK visa at the similar time, as the Schengen VAC is also located at the same location.
